Recipe Questions and Feedback
Have you tried one of the recipes?
Feel free to share how it turned out, what you served with it, or whether you made any changes.
Your feedback can help improve the recipe and make the instructions clearer for future readers.
When contacting me about a specific recipe, please include the name or link to the recipe so I can easily find it.
Corrections and Suggested Changes
I do my best to keep every recipe clear, accurate, and easy to follow. However, mistakes can happen.
Please contact me if you notice:
- A missing ingredient or measurement
- An unclear instruction
- A problem with cooking time or temperature
- A spelling or formatting error
- Information that may need more context
- A regional or traditional detail that should be corrected
Helpful and respectful corrections are always welcome.
Please explain what you think should be changed and, when possible, include a reliable source or some background information.
Suggest a New Recipe
Is there a Cypriot, Greek, or Mediterranean recipe you would like to see on Copper Olive Kitchen?
You are welcome to send your request.
It may be a traditional dish you remember from childhood, something you ate while travelling, a family favourite, or a recipe you have struggled to find in English.
Please include as much information as you can, such as:
- The name of the dish
- The country, island, village, or region connected to it
- Its main ingredients
- Any alternative names or spellings
- What makes the dish special to you
I cannot promise that every suggestion will become a published recipe, but all thoughtful ideas are appreciated.
Share Your Own Recipe
You are also welcome to share a personal or family recipe.
Recipes passed between generations often contain details that cannot be found in cookbooks or online databases. Regional differences, family techniques, and small ingredient changes are part of what makes traditional cooking so interesting.
When sharing a recipe, please include:
- The recipe name
- Ingredients and approximate amounts
- Preparation instructions
- Where the recipe comes from
- Any personal story or useful background
- Whether you would like your name mentioned if the recipe inspires a future article
Please only submit recipes, photographs, and stories that belong to you or that you have permission to share.
Submitted recipes may be researched, tested, adapted, edited, or combined with information from other sources before publication. Sending a recipe does not guarantee that it will be published.
Traditional and Regional Variations
There is rarely one single version of a traditional recipe.
A dish may be prepared differently in Paphos, Limassol, Crete, Rhodes, or a small village only a few kilometres away. Families may also have their own methods and ingredient preferences.
Please feel welcome to share these differences.
The aim is not to decide that one family’s version is right and another is wrong. The aim is to understand the dish better and give readers useful context.
